    The Opportunity

    Are you passionate about fostering collaborations in cancer research? We're seeking a driven Research and Partnership Manager to spearhead strategic initiatives at the MPCCC.

    In this pivotal role, you'll identify and nurture partnership opportunities across diverse research activities. Working closely with stakeholders from government, hospitals, universities, industry partners, and more, you'll drive projects to achieve our ambitious research engagement agenda.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate partnership opportunities
  • Facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to maximize efficiency
  • Support MPCCC co-directors in defining project scope and viability
  • Implement and evaluate collaborative projects
  • Support committees and facilitate agreed activities
  • Involve people affected by cancer in project development
  • Manage research activities and reporting processes
  • Identify funding opportunities and assist in applications
  • Key Selection Criteria:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Extensive experience in project management in health or research
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Understanding of consumer involvement in health research
  • Proficiency in project proposal development and funding applications
  • Ability to streamline processes and solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Track record of successful collaboration in the cancer sector
