The Bursar of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University appoints a selection procedure for the position

PR and marketing specialist for Centre of excellence CREATIC (minimum working hours 20 per week)

The Centre of Excellence CREATIC of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University in Brno, was established on 1 January 2024 and focused on research and development of cell and gene therapy for selected rare diseases. We cooperate with the Fraunhofer Institute IZI (Germany), the University of Leipzig (Germany) and the University of Copenhagen (Denmark). The establishment of the centre will be supported by the prestigious European grant Teaming for Excellence and a grant from the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports for the next 6 years.

Are you passionate about building strong brands and interested in working in a dynamic environment? Are graphics and copywriting your strengths, and do you have a head full of ideas? We are looking for a creative colleague to join our two-person PR team as a PR specialist and become an important part of it.

The scope of your work will be:

Creating graphic outputs and marketing tools for the centre (letterheads, official documents, templates), responsible for the visual presentation of the centre.

Communication with print shops and agencies, preparation of offers.

Coordinating the preparation and organisation of conferences, seminars and promotional events.

Creating texts, news and articles, copywriting.

Design and arrange promotional items and printed materials, registration, and management.

Collaboration on preparing social media content and creating and managing advertising campaigns.

Participating in creating and managing web presentations and updating and editing websites.

Providing general marketing support for the Centre.

Required qualification:

High school or university degree (in PR, communication, marketing an advantage)

Experience in a similar position for at least 2 years

Experience in preparing graphic outputs and a strong sense of aesthetics

Very good knowledge of the Czech and English language, both written and spoken

Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills

Diligence, flexibility, creative and imaginative approach

Ability to work as part of a team and be responsible for an assigned agenda
