Your Role:
As the VP, Tax & Treasury, you'll be working with some of the industry's
brightest minds as part of the Finance team reporting to the CFO, responsible
for overseeing all tax activities for the organization including US &
International tax planning, tax research, tax compliance and income tax
returns. This role also manages all technical tax research and tax planning
projects and coordinates outsourced tax projects as well. The VP of Tax is
also involved in M&A activities. This role also oversees the treasury function
including covenant reporting, cash position, cash forecasting, equity
offerings, investments, and Int'l fund flows.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the quarterly and year-end tax provision under GAAP and SEC rules
and related tax accounts for financial reporting for US and international
operations.
Responsible for all international, federal, state, local. sales & use,
property, and other indirect taxes of the Company, including managing tax
planning, reporting, compliance, all tax audits.
Work with other functions and external consultants on structuring
acquisitions, sales, and other transactions to maximize tax planning
opportunities. Involved in all structuring issues, financing, and M&A
activities to effectively advise management on the tax consequences.
Development and implementation of global tax policies, programs, and
practices, the development, updating, and alignment of agreements,
including transfer pricing and intercompany loans.
Manage employment tax related issues including cross border, state,
provincial, and local and oversee all required filings associated.
Provides C-Suite and Business Unit leadership with strategic and technical
tax guidance in a "Business Partner" relationship.
Interfaces with the Company's external auditor and tax advisors that
support the function's tax planning and compliance.
Optimize the U.S. corporate sales tax structure from the multiple sales
tax systems acquired through acquisitions to align with and support the
business operations.
Establishes procedures and ensures controls are in place for all
tax/treasury functions globally, including involvement in the SOX 404
process and related documentation.
Monitor changes in applicable tax laws or rules.
Liaise with IT on all technical matters and manage tax data requirements
relating to tax applications.
Liaise with HR on tax matters related to foreign assignees and employee
travel.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency
and results-orientation.
Develop a Worldwide Cash Management and Foreign Currency Transaction
Policy.
Manage all bank relationships worldwide in an effective and transparent
manner.
Track U.S. and foreign bank account information to determine correct
signatories, to establish efficient payment system (including
intercompany transfers), and respond to reporting requirements (i.e.
Foreign Bank Account Reporting FBAR).
Leads the application of continuous improvement mindset across the
organization.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 15 years of corporate/Big 4 tax experience with at least 5 years
of managing a global tax function.
Strong post-US tax reform technical skills including GILTI, BEAT, FTC,
etc.
Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions, with significant experience with
M&A Tax due diligence and integration.
Ability to develop and implement 'Best Practice" processes to improve
efficiency and accuracy.
Significant International tax experience with demonstrated technical
knowledge in various international statutes and regulations related to
specific global tax jurisdictions and countries (including the European
Union and Luxembourg rules and regulations).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to
effectively communicate complex tax and financial topics, including the
ability to conduct presentations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master of Taxation JD, CPA or equivalent experience preferred.
Ability and desire to drive change through high-energy, can-do attitude,
comfortable working in a high-performance, entrepreneurial, open-door
environment
Must be an outstanding communicator and team player who demonstrates
attention to detail, and who also understands how to ensure finance
initiatives that support the long-term strategy of the business

Annual Salary Range:
($220K to $300K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
