We are looking for someone who has the experience and judgment required to help us further evolve our Technology Development Processes and land durable mechanisms to ensure our technology development integrates well with our Product Development Process.

Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organization and a systematic approach to problem-solving are required.

Required Skills:

  • Technical Program Manager, Operational Excellence Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement of our technology development processes across our organization, including their integration with our PDP.

  • Rally cross-functional teams to identify problem statements and drive the implementation of solutions addressing those challenges.

  • Incident, Problem, and patchwork

  • Engage partners from Engineering, Design, Product Management and Supply Chain/Operations to ensure our Technology Development Processes encompass all of their needs and support each in successfully developing and launching groundbreaking technologies in our products.

  • Build improvements to our PDP and flexible processes to ensure our TPMs and teams have the tools they need to navigate complex technology and product tradeoffs during development. This includes processes that drive more robust schedules for technology integration, advanced resource planning for technology development, and improved clarity in risk assessment and risk management.

  • Bring new insights to the development of our PDP and lead initiatives to further evolve our product development processes.

  • Partner with technical leads to further evolve and evangelize our technology development processes, including our technology lifecycle and New Technology Introduction (NTI) processes.

  • Effectively communicate progress on your initiatives, identify potential risks and setbacks, and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • 8-10+ years' experience of technical product/program management, systems engineering, or hardware engineering experience, with a substantial portion focused on technical program.

  • Experience with phase gate approach to product development.

  • Communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organization and across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience processing, identifying, and evangelizing best practices and strategizing playbooks. Systematic approach to problem-solving and a focus on driving continuous improvement in large organizations.

  • Experience in scoping and shipping products that include complex and innovative hardware and software, such as consumer electronics, medical devices, etc.

  • Experience in the development and introduction of newly invented technologies to consumers.

  • Expected Salary Range : $130,000.000 - $ 160,000.00 a year.

    Additional compensation : Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Frisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

    Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above

Launched in 2016 and based in Southern California, Fisker Inc. is the successor to Fisker Automotive, which produced the Fisker Karma. Fisker Inc. is developing the Fisker Ocean, an electric sport utility vehicle (SUV) with an estimated range of 300–350 miles (480–560 km), with production expected to begin in late 2022.
