Technical Officer (holding the functional title of Embryologist Trainee) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 523742) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, and with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a recognized Diploma, preferably with a Bachelor's degree in Health and Life Science, Biomedical Science, Biological Science or a related discipline. Registered as medical laboratory technologist (MLT) would be an advantage.

The appointee will work mainly in the IVF laboratory at the University's teaching hospitals. He/She will carry out routine embryologist's duties to provide assisted reproduction technology services, and conduct clinical research. Working on weekends/public holidays will be required.
