The Registration Technician II reports directly to the Coordinator of Central Records & Registration. The duties and responsibilities of this position is to answer incoming calls on the Eagle Self-Service line, process Eagle Self- Service e-mail inquiries, assist students in navigating Eagle Self-Service, troubleshoot technical difficulties that prevent a student from accessing their Eagle Self-Service account to register for courses on-line, build registry for users by running the daily report and generate the daily Eagle Self-Service notification E-mail report.

Minimum Required Education

High school diploma or GED required. Associates Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education is preferred.

Minimum Required Experience

Six years of clerical experience with high school diploma or GED ( or ) two years of clerical experience with a certificate / successful completion of relevant trade school (30 Credits) ( or ) one year of clerical experience with an Associates Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must possess above average computer, E-mail and internet skills with knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Attention to detail and task oriented.
  • Must possess excellent telephone skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service skills that include effective interaction and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information.
  • Ability to perform research and resolve discrepancies in students' academic and enrollment records.
  • Skilled at proofreading and identifying conflicting data.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and multi- task.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical difficulties Eagle Self Service that prohibit students from logging into and registering for courses on-line.
