Subsystem Validation Engineer – Infotainment - Indaiatuba

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare ADV (Analysis Development and Validation) plans with assistance of peer and global validation experts
  • Lead test plan execution, reporting ADV Status to Product Validation Engineer
  • Analyses and interprets resulting data from Electrical / Electronics subsystems tests
  • Utilizes analytical tools into support root cause and correction of product failures and test issues
  • Participate in Problem Solving Teams
  • Document all anomalies using existing documentation tools
  • Create user test cases to support physical/virtual validation and investigation analysis
  • Participate in Problem Solving Teams
  • Prepares formal written post-test reports
  • Maintains frequent communication with internal customer and global development centers
  • Execute certification tests for Electrical subsystems
  • Focal point for electrical subsystems validation
  • Support through attendance in Design Review by Test Results (DRBTRs)
  • Participate in DFMEA work groups

    Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with proven technical and professional skills in job-related area required.
  • Graduated in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering).
  • Experience in development or validation of Vehicle Electrical Integration/VMEC/ADAS/Infotainment/Connectivity Systems
  • Skills and abilities with most common engineering tools for Vehicle Infotainment Validation (Vehicle Spy, Canoe, WiFi,serial data protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, etc).
  • Fluence in English
  • Demonstrate Be Inclusive behavior:
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and to make sound recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex technical topics in forums.
  • Innovative mindset and curious for optimized methods
  • Preferred Skills:

  • 4+ years of experience in a professional engineering environment.
  • Experience with vehicle and bench validation at component or subsystem level
  • Ability to interpret and write scripts for automated testing (SIL/VHIL)
  • DFSS and Root Cause / Red-X experience
  • Excellent organizational skills - Able to manage their component/subsystems across the assigned programs.
  • High level of integrity to work effectively with others
  • Quick to learn, results oriented, and willing to work hands-on with GM's vehicles and benches.
  • High level of written and oral communication skills to work effectively with others
  • Is able to build relationships and collaborate cross functionally
