The Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences have an exciting opportunity to join the Student Engagement and Success team.

About the role

The Student Success Officer will support a diverse range of projects and initiatives, further enhancing the experience of our students within the Faculty.

Working across student voice, employability and broader student experience projects, this is an opportunity to play a key role in the development of the undergraduate and postgraduate taught student experience. You will work collaboratively with the Student Engagement Manager, as well as academic and professional services staff, developing innovative and inclusive ways of promoting relevant opportunities to students.

The role takes responsibility for delivering an engaging programme of employability activities across the student lifecycle, with a particular focus on our students who do not undertake a placement. You will also work on student voice initiatives, monitoring and evaluating various forms of student feedback to identify gaps or areas of best practice while developing other activities that promote a sense of community and belonging.

This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) fixed term basis covering for maternity with an expected end date of 27/01/2025 or the return of the post holder.
