Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit:
The School of Nursing supports the university's advisement goals to support enrollment, matriculation, and student academic success. Thus, we seek a passionate, energetic individual capable of contributing to expanding the RN- BSN degree program and supporting all programs. The candidate must be able and willing to support recruitment efforts and advise students, coordinate student admissions, and organize, participate, and lecture in student learning communities and activities as needed.
Primary Purpose of the Position:
The School of Nursing of the Lloyd College of Health Science and Technology seeks a professional, knowledgeable candidate to serve as student success coordinator/advisor to promote retention and academic success. The successful candidate will know about nursing programs. Under the direction of the associate/assistant Dean, the successful candidate will engage students in various services and activities to support recruitment and progress toward graduation. These activities include but are not limited to determining eligibility for cohort-based programs and providing guidance, services, access to resources, program activities, development opportunities, and a network of support to promote student academic success, enrollment persistence, student recruitment, and overall achievement of personal and professional career goals for nursing students. The successful candidate may be assigned a teaching load of 4 credits as a lecturer.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
A Master's degree in psychology, social sciences, health, counseling, or a related field is preferred. Some work experience in higher education, preferably in academic advising, counseling, admissions, enrollment management, or student affairs.
