About You As the Student Advice Senior Officer, you will be responsible for providing timely, consistent and accurate information and advice and service to customers and coordinate activities which ensure a high quality customer service is provided in person, online and over the phone by the Student Advice Team at Business Connect. This includes the routine and most complex enquiries, involving the application and interpretation of University Policy & Procedures.
To be successful in this position, you will have as a minimum:
Demonstrated ability in the coordination and provision of expert, responsive and high quality customer service through understanding the needs of stakeholders.
High level communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people from a range of cultural backgrounds and the proven ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of management, staff and external parties on complex, sensitive and confidential issues.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively, flexibly and collaboratively with colleagues within and beyond the immediate work unit, contributing to the achievement of team goals.
Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement, and proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice and to proactively drive creative solutions through to implementation within the immediate work area.

About the College
As one of the largest Business Schools in the Asia Pacific region, the College of Business and Law is comprised of five schools – four in Melbourne and one in Vietnam - delivering a broad range of programs in Business, ranging from Certificates up to PHD levels. Many programs articulate between Vocational Education and Higher Education, creating pathways for further study. The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology usually known as RMIT University is a research university established in Melbourne, Australia.
