Sr. IT Software Developer


GM are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with our clients and business stakeholders to identify and resolve technical issues and problems. You will lead discussions to recommend effective solutions that align with the clients' requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in designing, building, and implementing these solutions, while documenting all configuration, technical, and code changes.


• Work closely with clients and business stakeholders to understand issues and provide solution recommendations. • Lead discussions with clients to finalize solutions that meet their • Design, build, and implement solutions, ensuring all development phases are closely monitored and delivered on time and meeting expectations. • Assist in QA and UAT testing of the developed solutions. • Deploy solutions into production after successful QA and UAT testing. • Provide post Go Live Support to address and resolve any issues promptly. • Address and resolve defects quickly to minimize business impact. • Take the lead in resolving high-priority tickets and provide Level 3-4 support. • Ensure high service delivery performance and evaluate customer feedback for quality improvement. • Mentor team members in technology, architecture, and application delivery. • Update and develop software solutions to address specific business needs. • Utilize Infor expertise to enhance GM's projects and processes. • Share industry best practices and integration expertise to optimize operations.


• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. • 7+ years of direct experience and knowledge of INFOR SCM WM implementations, troubleshooting, and support. • Previous experience as a team-lead for 2+ full implementation lifecycles of INFOR WMS solution. • Ability to apply base INFOR WMS functionality and configurations to address client/business requirements. • Proficiency in configuring highly complex COTS applications. • Strong SQL Server and PL/SQL language knowledge. • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work independently or in groups. • Positive attitude, commitment, and self-motivation to achieve project goals. • Strong team player with the ability to build positive relationships.

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other INFOR solutions such as INFOR OS configurations, INFOR Ming.le, BIRT reporting tool, etc.
  • Excellent technical and non-technical presentation and communication skills, capable of explaining complex topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with business and IT managers.
  • Familiarity with relational database concepts and Unix scripting.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, iterative, or waterfall development and project methodologies.
  • Technical writing skills for system design specifications and user documentation, ensuring compliance with GM standards.
  • Hybrid:

  • Position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time but the general expectation is that the employee be onsite an average of three (3) days each week
