The SQA Undergraduate Research Scholarship provides talented undergraduate students with invaluable research experience in quantum technology. Successful applicants will undertake an exciting 6-week project between January and February 2024 under the supervision of a leading quantum researcher from one of SQA's four partner universities.
The SQA Undergraduate Research Scholarship value is AU$3,333. Successful applicants are required to be engaged in a project on a full-time basis (35 hours a week for six weeks during normal working hours unless advised otherwise by the supervisor).
Applicants may identify as woman, man or outside the gender binary, but some scholarship places will be prioritised for students who identify as woman.

To apply please see the following: Application website- Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an SQA partner university (Macquarie University, UNSW Sydney, the University of Sydney, University of Technology Sydney), or be a domestic, undergraduate student attending a university in NSW.
- Applicants must have completed a minimum of the equivalent to 1.5 years of full-time study towards their undergraduate degree by the time they commence their research project.
- Students who were previously awarded an SQA Undergraduate Research Scholarship are not eligible to apply.
- Successful candidates cannot hold another similar research scholarship during the research project period.
- Applicants may identify as woman, man or outside the gender binary, but some scholarship places will be prioritised for students who identify as woman
