Role Overview

The Specialist, Vehicle Processing will be at the forefront of our Vehicle Processing Center's operations and expansion. This role will encompass a thrilling mix seamless vehicle movement and organization and meticulous detailing work. The position requires a dynamic approach and an eye for detail, directly contributing to the quality and excellence that Fisker represents.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Transport

  • Safely move vehicles around the on-site and off-site locations, managing vehicle movement and lot organization with efficiency and precision.
  • Vehicle Detailing

  • Thoroughly wash, vacuum, and clean vehicles, as well as perform additional detail services as required.

  • Vacuum and scrub the interior and seats of vehicles.

  • Dry, wax, and buff the exterior of cars.

  • Operate a variety of cleaning tools, including buffers and vacuums.

  • Apply cleaning agents to protect each vehicle's paint.

  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • 1+ year of automotive detailing experience is required.

  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Competencies

  • Positive, “team first” attitude, with a willingness to embrace the opportunity to contribute in various capacities.

  • Self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills.

  • Good critical thinking and problem-solving skills, consistency exercising sound judgement.

  • Ability to effectively manage material resources and keep track of an inventory of supplies.

  • Ample knowledge of safety precautions.

  • Exceptional customer service skills are a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Additional language skills are a plus.

  • Working Conditions

  • Must be willing to work overtime, early or late hours, and on weekends as needed to meet deadlines and goals for a global company.

  • May be exposed to service workshop environment that requires lifting moderate weights (up to 30 lbs), standing for long hours, wearing personal protective equipment, extensive manual labor, etc.

  • May be exposed to strong detergents and chemicals.

  • Other Requirements

  • May perform other duties as assigned.

  • This position may require some occasional domestic travel.

  • Expected Salary Range

    $20.00 per hour to $26.00 per hour.

    Additional Compensation

    Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.

Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
