Role Overview

Fisker Inc. is looking for a passionate Specialist, In-country Logistics & Home Delivery Switzerland to join our growing team based in Zurich, Switzerland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating vehicle flows from national logistics compounds to customers and ensure a seamless Home Delivery experience across Swiss markets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vehicle flows from central and local hubs to the home of Fisker customers in destinations across Switzerland

  • Recommend improvements to existing or planned home delivery processes

  • Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers

  • Work closely together with our Sales, Aftersales and Logistics Departments as well as our Logistics Service Providers in Switzerland

  • Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and services within budget

  • Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transportation costs

  • Interpret data on logistics elements such as availability, reliability, supply chain management and provider's information

  • Recommend optimal transport modes, routes, and frequency

  • Perform administrative duties, such as data entry, word processing, filing, copying, and other duties associated with this position

  • Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or apprenticeship with a focus on the Automotive Sector or Logistics

  • Prior experience (1-4 years) of working in logistics/supply chain/ transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with comprehensive knowledge of logistics processes

  • Knowledge of principles for moving vehicles by rail and road along with White Glove Services (experience in delivering new or used vehicles to end customers)

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in English, other European languages are a plus

  • IT systems experience and knowledge on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) as well as customer data systems

  • Knowledge of insurance or technical regulations related to logistics such as import/export and customs regulations, including legal requirements is a plus

  • Advanced Excel skills along with good utilization of MS Office

  • Well organized, strong attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a proactive mindset
