    Reporting to the SRS Programme Manager on this well-defined, ambitious SITS implementation programme; the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of SITS system, e-vision functionalities across the whole student lifecycle. They will be working on the end to end design, testing and data set up of the system, partnering with 3rd party suppliers performing testing, sense checks to requirements and supporting the business with training.

    The university has already gone live with Admissions and the successful applicant will have the chance to work on multiple capabilities and student lifecycle processes such as; student records, student finance, academic model, awards & Progression, graduation and curriculum management. This role is a newly creating position siting with a small lean technical team. This will give the postholder the autonomy and the flexibility to leave their mark within this programme. This position will provide the successful candidate the chance to be part of team who are delivering exceptional results for the University of Northampton and offer an opportunity to build a resume that will make them stand out.

    The successful applicant will be able to utilise our Smarter working approach. Working in a hybrid working pattern, being required to travel to the Northampton Waterside Campus for key events, such as planning, deployment and launch.

    About You

    The successful candidate should be a self-starter, who has previous experience of both Higher Education and the SITS product set. They will consider themselves a SITS generalist, capable of supporting with development, analysis, data set up, environment management and training of the student record system.

    Able to engage with a variety of stakeholders and with a good understanding of business processes within the student lifecycle, they will be energised by the opportunity to create change within a HE setting.

    Qualifications

    Desirable:

  • Educated to Degree level or relevant experience demonstrating competence and progression in similar IT related roles

    This position is based on IT Services. It is part of the SRS Programme function and reports into the SITS Technical Lead.

In 1924, Northampton Technical College was established and with constant evolution, the University of Northampton was founded in 2005 after the amalgamation of a host of training colleges.     Located in the beautiful town of Northampton, which is well-known for historic sites and museums, teaching at the University of Northampton is taken care of by four faculties in total, namely Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology, Faculty of Health and Society, Faculty of Business and Law and Faculty of Education and Humanities. presently, the university has around 14,000 students. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in diverse streams, apart from organizing different tutorials and seminars for the comprehensive development of the students.
