DUTIES
The School of Trades and Technology at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC is looking for a Red Seal certified Automotive Service Technician to fill a sessional position. The successful candidate will prepare and deliver all theoretical and practical aspects of the Program. Prior teaching experience is an asset, but not required. The initial appointment is for the period 27/11/2023 to 15/12/2023. This offer represents a Salary of $5,930.40 CAD which represents 84 Hours at $70.60 per Hour.
QUALIFICATIONS
In addition to the Candidate's Red Seal Qualification and years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and mentoring. Experience with apprentices is essential. TRU faculty are life-long learners and are willing to continuously improve their craft and their teaching skills. The student population is evolving, and educators must be willing to accommodate in areas that include but are not limited to: Technology, Learning Abilities, EDI, and accessibility.
