Job Description
As a Senior World Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the
narrative elements of our projects, working closely with the Lead Designer and
Creative Director. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams,
including writers, game designers, artists, and developers, to create
compelling storylines and characters that resonate with our audience. This
role requires a deep understanding of storytelling techniques, a passion for
interactive media, and the ability to lead and mentor junior team members.

Drive the development of narrative concepts, themes, and story arcs for
our projects, ensuring they align with the overall creative vision and
objectives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate narrative elements
seamlessly into the overall design, gameplay mechanics, and visual
aesthetics.
Create complex and relatable characters with distinct personalities,
motivations, and arcs that resonate with the target audience.
Develop rich and immersive settings that enhance the player's experience
and contribute to the overall narrative.
Write and edit scripts, dialogue, and other narrative content, ensuring
consistency in tone, style, and voice.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior narrative designers, fostering
their growth and development within the team.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging narrative techniques, and
implement innovative storytelling methods to elevate our projects.
Give and receive constructive feedback to refine and enhance narrative
elements throughout the development process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Game Design, or a related
field and or the equivalent in experience.
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering high-quality
narrative content for commercial projects.
F2P mobile, live service and premium-priced console/PC game development
experience are all valuable.
Ability to communicate feedback to development teams.
Proactive, enthusiastic team player comfortable working within a fast-
moving, multi-disciplinary team in a senior role.
Passionate about games, design, and technology - with a forward-thinking
approach.
