    The Opportunity

Then look no further than the Senior Student Services Officer opportunity on offer. The Senior Student Services Officer sits within the Monash Business School Student and Education Services professional services portfolio and will have a specialist focus within one of the Student Services functional areas. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated team player for our Course Advice and Support team.

    This role will provide direct and frontline support in the delivery of high- quality student and academic services across the School. With a focus on operational excellence, the Senior Student Services Officer provides services to facilitate all aspects of the student life cycle, including prospective and current student enquiries, admission, enrolment, orientation and transition, complex course advice and case management, student mobility, course progression and completion. It also supports a range of co-curricular activities ranging from student leadership to career development programs.

    As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, implementing and managing a range of complex administrative tasks including coordinating projects, producing reports and allocating resources in accordance with agreed standards and timeframes
  • Providing supervision and guidance to a small team where applicable, including overseeing compliance with University and legislative policies and encouraging a strong customer focus
  • Delivering effective service to clients, including prompt issue resolution and adherence to privacy, confidentiality and compliance requirements
  • Providing sound and timely specialist advice and support to other staff, clients and stakeholders in areas of administrative and service responsibility
  • The appointee will have a degree in a relevant field with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
