An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced researcher to conduct a sustainability assessment of biofuel use to reduce carbon emissions in the glass sector. You will work within the internationally excellent Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute at Aston University and conduct your assessment as part of the Supergen Bioenergy Hub programme.
Supported by a full-time research associate and experienced supervisors, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industrial partners to inform their decision-making on this important project focused on reducing carbon emissions and maximizing sustainability in the industrial sector. You will have a first degree in science, engineering, or a related subject, a relevant PhD, and significant experience in sustainability and/or life-cycle assessment, consistent with independent research capabilities.
