Senior Research Assistant/ Research Assistant I (Holding the Functional Title of Project Engineer) in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref: 523081) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability)

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or related disciplines, with at least three years of research experience. They should be competent in quantitative analysis and experienced in using statistical software. They should also have a good command of written and spoken English, a strong sense of responsibility, good organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as a team, and to collaborate with external parties.

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in implementing research projects on construction safety and family violence and be responsible for data collection, literature review, and other duties as assigned. Preference will be given to those with proficiency in Cantonese, experience in in-door environment safety, and quality-related research. Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an interview.
