The Institute for Lifecourse Development (ILD) in the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences is seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to provide a high standard of support to the Institute for Lifecourse Development as well Faculty staff and students.
The Senior Research Administrator will work with The Institute for Lifecourse Development (ILD) in the Faculty of Education, Health and Human Sciences.
We are looking for someone with proven administrative experience, preferably in a large and complex organisation - ideally within higher education. You will need to possess strong communication skills with the ability to build strong and positive working relationships with administrative and academic colleagues. You must have excellent organisational skills and be able to plan and prioritise a busy schedule of work in order to achieve objectives. You should have strong IT skills and enjoy multi-tasking, having several complex projects on the go at any one time. Your track record should include skills in managing budgets, using records systems and databases, together with a commitment to continuous improvement and solving challenges through innovation. Great problem solving and decision-making skills are crucial alongside accuracy and an eye for detail.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who likes variety, has the ability to work well under pressure and is good at multitasking, and would like to build on their administrative experience.
