Join Jam City as a Senior QA Analyst and be a pivotal part of our team, dedicated to testing our next hit mobile game. You will have the opportunity to work with an incredibly talented development team and world-class IPs from Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars!

Under the Lead QA's guidance, you will contribute to the formulation of test plans and the establishment of QA processes for the new game. This multifaceted role involves mentoring future QA testers, conducting thorough game testing, and diligently documenting bugs.

Additionally, you will become an expert of the game, poised to handle questions and investigate any issues that arise.

We welcome fully remote candidates who are willing to work PDT hours.

 Maintain a strong knowledge of the project design and scheduling to ensure QA testing effectiveness, focus, and reporting.
 Consistently create detailed bug reports in our bug tracking database, JIRA, and monitor bugs from creation to regression.
 Regularly communicate the status of builds to the team.
 Write, execute, and review test cases/plans to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
 Create new and update existing QA how-to documentation.
 Maintain constant communication and create healthy working relationships between QA, game, and support teams.
 Provide constructive QA feedback during game development and brainstorms.
 Actively develop and improve your skill set and abilities by staying up-to-date on QA industry trends and techniques.
 Teach and mentor future testers within the project.

 Minimum 3-6 years of experience in mobile QA testing.
 Proficient with bug tracking software (ex: Jira, Unfuddle, Bugzilla, etc.) and third-party testing tools (ex: Charles Proxy, TestRail, etc.) 
 Familiarity with BI testing (AVRO, Databricks, etc.)
 Knowledge of the Apple and Android family of mobile devices.
 Detail-oriented and well-organized.
 Familiarity with standard practices and procedures in the mobile QA industry.
 Proactive, results-oriented, self starter with a strong sense of ownership.
 Team player with good people skills.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback.
 Able to prioritize and focus in a fast-paced, high-pressure team environment.
 Ability to creatively solve problems.
 Willingness to work with remote teams in different time zones.
 Passion for video games is a must!
