The Senior Manager West PDC Operations and Overall PDC Productivity Performance will have the responsibility of managing four part distribution centers (PDCs) along with productivity improvement projects to increase US PDC performance.
This role will be responsible for safety, quality, responsiveness, and cost at four CCA part distribution centers. These PDCs are in Rancho, Reno, Denver, and Chicago. The role will be the first point of contact for the plants to communicate, escalate concerns and resolve roadblocks. If unable to solution, then serve as point of contact to director of US PDCs to resolve.
Assumes complete leadership and accountable for all four PDC sites. Ensuring all critical metrics (safety, quality, responsiveness, and cost) have plans to root cause, strategize for improvement and execution. Requirement is to deliver improvements to performance in all areas measured.
The role will be responsible to lead the PDC standardization and effectiveness team. This team will focus on all productivity improvement projects (Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory Control) with a centralized approach to support all the twelve US PDCs. It will be essential to ensure common and standardized methodology to approach, project implementation and execution.
Responsible to communicate and gain support from cross-functional teams (Warehouse strategy/Innovation & Optimization, Safety, Supply Chain, and Sales) to execute projects, follow up on deliverables and convey project status.
Assumes leadership for project implementation for productivity and reports and serves as escalation point for project issues that need Director guidance.
Accountable to lead common processes across all twelve PDCs. Confirming consistent training of operations leaders and to lead problem resolution if requested by a site. This includes inbound, outbound, inventory control and operational risk management.
