Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Champions a focus on driving hypothesis generation, insights, and experimentation, providing strategic thought leadership in shaping and executing analytics, data science, and insights strategy for partner businesses. Drafts multivariate test hypothesis, and oversee tests and results with broader teams.
  • Defines digital KPIs for revenue and experience impact, including underlying data layer collection for quality data management. Enables data informed decision making at the speed of business, driving beyond diagnostic and descriptive, and into predictive and prescriptive (AI/ML) decisions.
  • Provide strategic direction and lead the development of analytics capabilities, and the process to mature & scale capabilities across the business functions. Has the business context to run cadenced business reviews with leadership, enabling data storytelling to best contextualize KPIs and optimization opportunities. Builds weekly cadence to read and react the business, traffic, merchandise, operations and digital product related KPIs.
  • Drive descriptive opportunities to understand focus areas like demand, penetration, elasticity, volatility, and profitability, while maturing the landscape through predictive and prescriptive solutions of forecast demand, supply chain strategies, and recommendation engines across all channels.
  • This is a global role focused on driving analytics partnership and strategy. This role is an ambassador for the greater Enterprise Data, Analytics and Insights team, and is focused on democratizing data and decisions. You will lead a team and be tasked with their growth and development through instruction, education, coaching and mentorship, amplifying the value and impact that analytics can make across GM.
  • Essential Qualifications / Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in enterprise organizations where analytics, data, and insights fueled key growth; Preferred experience leading these teams for a Fortune 500 company.
  • 3+ years' experience leading analytics teams in multinational/complex settings
  • Strong digital analytics acumen, with 5+ years of experience with digital clickstream data sets (such as Adobe, Google Analytics, Heap or 1P server-side collection) and experimentation software (such as Adobe, Launch Darkly, etc.) understanding both implementation as well as integration and usage of those data sets in big data environments
  • Understands ecommerce strategy with high contribution to growth, knows the channels of growth and site / app levers of optimization.
  • Robust background in experimentation, measurement, causal inference. Previous experience with measurement frameworks such as MMM, MTA, CLTV, and general attribution methodologies
  • Prior experience with statistical modeling, machine learning and/or deep learning techniques. Familiarity with one or more analytical tools such as Python, R, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Prior experience with Databricks /Azure services (Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Power BI) or AWS tools (SageMaker, Glue, EMR) or GCP (Dataflow, Big Query, Cloud Run) is a plus
  • Prior experience with a/b testing software for digital businesses in web and app
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Information Systems, or similar Mathematical background (required). MBA or Master in adjacent discipline (advantageous)
  • Proven experience driving decisions with data, both through grit and automation, in strategic planning and innovation environments
  • Highly collaborative, team player with an ability to lead large cross- functional teams towards common goals, strong culture awareness
  • Strong digital analytics acumen, robust background in experimentation and measurement frameworks. Previous experience with pricing, incentives and services; able to apply machine learning, predictive modeling and other advanced applications to ensure insight generation velocity.

  • Remote: The position can be performed remotely from the US most of the time, but the employee may be asked to come on-site approximately four times per year.

    Compensation: The expected base compensation for this role is : $152,000- $233,600 . Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

    Bonus/Equity Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
