The Graduate School of Business and Law at RMIT University is looking to recruit two full-time continuing positions at either an Academic Level C or D.

About You
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
Qualification in undergraduate law (LLB) or a Juris Doctor, admission to practice as an Australian lawyer; and a PhD.
International research reputation, evidence of effective teaching and leadership experience.
High level of interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills including the ability to consult with senior executives, external bodies, produce executive reports, negotiate agreed directions, outcomes and targets within a collaborative environment.
Ability to manage academic program teams and support scholarly development of less experienced academic staff
Experience in research leadership with the ability to build and develop collaborative research teams, mentor academic staff to deliver high quality outcomes, attract and secure external research funding to sustain research effort and manage funded research projects including complex budgets and reporting requirements.
Demonstrated high level communication skills.

About the Graduate School of Business and Law
The Graduate School of Business & Law (GSBL), within the College of Business and Law, commenced operations in January 2010. In July 2010 the GSBL moved to the new Emily McPherson premises, opening an exciting new phase in RMIT's development of professional programs for the experienced, post-graduate law and business market.
The RMIT Juris Doctor Program (JD) was introduced in July 2007 in RMIT and has become a part of the GSBL in 2010. The JD provides non-law graduates the opportunity to obtain a qualification that leads to entry into the legal profession. In 2021, RMIT offered three undergraduate law programs, the Bachelor of Laws; Bachelor Laws/Bachelor of Business (Information Systems); Bachelor of Law/Bachelor of Business (Economics and Finance). In 2022, the Bachelor of Accounting/Bachelor of Laws was added to the undergraduate law program.
The Law program features clinic and internship opportunities for both JD and undergraduate law programs, and staff engage in innovative and quality research with social impact.
