Job Title: Senior Database Administrator

Job Location: 6021 Connection Drive, Irving, Texas 75039, and various, unanticipated sites throughout the U.S.

Job Type: Full Time

Duties: Administer, test, and implement computer databases, applying knowledge of database management systems. Participate in design reviews as required to ensure database design meets application requirements. Design, maintain, document, and execute database utilities to provide information regarding database activity. Responsible for database backups, design, development, testing, and performance tuning. Work with developers to design and build new structures to support application enhancements and promote database changes throughout the Dev, UAT, and Prod databases. Responsible for quarterly patch applications (PSU) and periodic database upgrades with minimal downtime in the database environment. Responding promptly to user- reported errors. Protecting the database against threats or unauthorized access. Ensure database is adequately backed up and able to be recovered in the event of memory loss. Report on metrics regarding usage and performance and suggest changes and improvements for database maintenance or protection. Provide automation to standard DBA tasks. Reviews and enforces adherence to the company's architecture and database design and usage standards.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation. Experience must include one year of experience in the following:
