    The Opportunity

    Are you passionate about data management and analysis in the field of research? We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team and play a crucial role in providing accurate and quality data services for registries and clinical trials.

    As a Senior Data Officer, you will work closely with the Data Manager, Transfusion Research Unit, staff researchers, and stakeholders to deliver efficient research services in accordance with protocols and standards. Your responsibilities will include data management, analysis of clinical data sets, reporting, and providing expert advice to research staff and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and deliver research tasks including data management and analysis of clinical registries and clinical trial datasets
  • Effectively manage confidential and sensitive data and documents related to research datasets
  • Conduct high-quality data analysis to support research objectives
  • Prepare reports and documentation for research leaders, committees, and stakeholders
  • Provide advice and attend to queries from internal and external parties involved in registries and trials
  • Build and sustain effective working relationships with colleagues, collaborators, and stakeholders
  • Contribute to writing research papers and materials for presentations
  • Stay updated on developments and protocols in relevant research areas through meetings, literature, and seminars
  • Key Selection Criteria:

  • Relevant degree with at least three years of subsequent relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills with the ability to support key stakeholder relationships
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and achieve work targets while meeting project timelines
  • Proficiency in confidentiality, privacy, and human research ethics principles
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, statistical software packages (Stata and R), and databases (SQL)
