
About the Role The Senior Communications Adviser is an editorial lead in creating engaging and purposeful content and communications for the university's staff, students and external audiences, including media.
Reporting to the Deputy Director, Media and External Communications, the Senior Communications Adviser will contribute to the achievement of the university's goals through the planning, development and execution of content for the university's key communications channels.
The Senior Communications Adviser will work collaboratively with colleagues across the university to lead the production of speeches, stories, media releases, social media content and other high quality communications focused on external audiences, including media, alumni and the broader Swinburne community.

Swinburne University of Technology (often simply called Swinburne) is a public research university based in Melbourne, Australia. It was founded in 1908 as the Eastern Suburbs Technical College by George Swinburne in order to serve those without access to further education in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
