We are seeking a Senior Client Facility Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Manager Asset Performance and Services. This role is responsible for managing and implementing Campus Operations projects and initiatives aligned to client needs, the broader University and Property & Facilities strategy. The role is responsible for collecting and maintaining asset information and proactive maintenance activities.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support the implementation of maintenance projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment to client plans, business unit objectives and Property and Facilities Division strategies
Collect and maintain information on all infrastructure assets, assess condition and other asset attributes such as replacement date and predicted life against maintenance performance standards and record information in the asset management system
Provide appropriate and considered advice and assistance to all stakeholders and maintenance staff based on knowledge and experience
Independently manage maintenance projects from inception to completion in accordance with University procurement procedures and established documentation
Effectively monitor the progress and status of a project to achieve the completion of projects within the agreed program and budget
Support in completing compliance auditing of Preventative Maintenance contracts
Regularly prepare and analyse reports, providing advice and guidance on suggested action items
Coordinate the provision of resources (both in-house and external contractors) as required for maintenance works required
Maintain effective channels of communication with all stakeholders and Property and Facilities staff and contractors
Any other duties as reasonably directed by supervisor
This is a Full-time , Fixed-term position through to October 2026. At HEW Level 7 , the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range of $93,254.55 to $101,680.96 plus a generous super allowance of 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $109,107.82 to $118,966.72 per annum.
About YouEssential
Completion of a building related Degree with at least four (4) years subsequent relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant trade experience and/or education/training
Electrical trade licence required
Ability to apply structured problem solving approaches and good judgement to analyse, manage and resolve a diverse range of issues
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders and establish and become a trusted adviser and service provider to key clients
Demonstrated strong financial accountability in preparing and managing programs, and project budget allocations and cashflows
Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both written and oral) with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, and demonstrated organisational and time management skills in meeting strict deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of quality and consistency
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation, codes and standards, including Workplace Health & Safety and Environmental Management
Desirable
Experience working in maintenance service delivery functions in complex stakeholder and policy environments
Knowledge and technical experience in the provision of building maintenance services in large, complex buildings (including technical, scientific or laboratory facilities) within established policy frameworks, to meet client and organisational outcomes and results
Demonstrated project and contract management experience
