Keywords' Moderation team is all about fun, safety and care.
Currently we are looking for a Moderator with strong Russian and English
language skills that will make sure gamers, communities and the gaming
companies you admire the most are protected from unwanted or not suitable
content like harassment, sexual connotations, unnecessary violence nor racism.
Your job saves lives. We all know what a toxic environment looks like online.
Your role will help prevent toxic content from reaching others, protecting
them from being harassed, bullied or encouraged to hurt themselves.
While only 2-6% of the content we moderate is unwanted content, you might
be exposed to it. Keywords Studios is working every day to make sure exposure
to unwanted content is as limited as possible, the same way we make sure we
have many different tools available for you in case you need support to
work through it

You are a multi-tasker and you love it. Gaming moves at a quick pace,
sometimes with many tasks at the time that keep you on your toes, but you
thrive on it, love that days are never the same.
You are high energy, playful, and like to have fun. “We are in gaming
because we like to play”
You are a great communicator (written or verbally). You are able to
share with your team or Lead your ideas, challenges, and successes, with
the goal of making tasks, processes, communities, etc better day by day.
Our moderator should be resilient, mature and professional in order to
provide the highest possible quality service. Bearing in mind specific
content that might considered offensive by some.
Responsibilities:
Reviewing all incoming community interactions (Text, video, images, or
voice) on different online games, social media platforms, forums, etc. to
make sure they align with our customer's vision of a healthy community
Communicating directly with players in a fun and engaging manner
Being unbiased and open to understanding and listening to everyone's point
of view, to make sure everyone is treated equally.
Collaborate with internal teams for project-related requests.
Understanding and adopting our client's company and game culture and
mechanics. By living and breathing their vision of community you'll be
able to carry it on to every decision you make, in an unbiased and
responsible manner.
Assisting the developer by forwarding them important information that you
learn from the community to help them make design, game mechanics,
marketing, project, etc decisions.
Helping foster and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for a game
community.
Proactively suggesting new ways to grow and care for the community
Creating and updating corresponding documentation and reports as needed.
Requirements
C1-C2 Russian/English mastery, with an emphasis on written communication
skills.
Keywords is an international and multilingual company, so English is our
common language for communication. We expect candidates to feel
comfortable using English on a daily basis.

Experience managing or moderating an online community, either
professionally or in your spare time (an asset).
Note that this position requires full-time availability. Morning, day or
evening shift to fill. At least one weekend shift is mandatory.
The chosen candidate must either be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident
or a Temporary Foreign Worker with an Open Work permit or in the process of
requesting a Working Holiday Visa.

CAD 18.20-$20.20 per hour (depending on shift)
