Job Title Resident Information Research Tech

Department Kingsport Family Practice - 32100 Pay Grade 6 Job Category Support Staff Job Summary

Responsible to the Resident Coordinator and Program Director, the Information Research Tech assists the Resident Coordinator with the daily function of the resident program and supports the faculty with administrative tasks such as answering phones, maintaining the resident master schedule; coordinating resident evaluations; managing residents hours; assist with orientation; and other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to learn and efficiently assimilate new technologies, hardware, and software into daily functions
  • Ability to electronically create, store, edit, and transmit documents and photos in portable document format, pdf
  • Ability to gather and compile data for a variety of purposes
  • Ability to enter data accurately and to verify the data entry of others
  • Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Relevant part-time experience will be considered.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of New Innovations, Allcripts and Qgenda.
