announces a selection procedure for the position of Researchers for the Mass Spectroscopy Laboratory at the Centre of Polymer Systems, University Institute, Tomas Bata University in Zlin. The position is advertised mainly for the research direction of Environmental Technologies (Head of the group: Prof. Vladimír Sedlařík)

What does this position entail?

scientific activity focused on mass spectroscopy in conjunction with liquid and gas chromatography (LC/QTOF and GC/TOF)

involvement in the preparation of R&D project proposals and implementation of R&D projects

involvement in cooperation projects with industry

laboratory infrastructure management

Requirements:

Ph.D. graduate or with the prospect of soon completing a Ph.D. program in chemistry or a related field; the position is suitable for graduates

Ability to work independently in a chemical laboratory

Communicating skills in ordinary working relationships in English

Presentation skills in written and oral form in English

Basic computer Skills (Microsoft Office)

Ability to learn fast

Ability to make quick judgments based on theoretical knowledge and current information

Moral and civil integrity

Expected starting date: November 2023 or by agreement

Type of employment: for a fixed period of time with the possibility of extension
