Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to conduct or assist preclinical imaging acquisition and analysis using various imaging equipment in the small animal imaging facility. Preclinical imaging services in the core include CT, optical, ultrasound, nuclear imaging, and imaging-guided radiation service. Technical areas of responsibility include operating imaging equipment, animal handling, and conducting image processing and analysis. The candidate will also assist on some administrative duties include managing the imaging scheduling, coordinating with other staff for imaging services, setting up training, and communicating with users.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Applicants must be willing to work with animals.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

Applicants that have experience with image analysis or imaging equipment are preferred.
