Duties:
Healing rural health systems is a knowledge translation project. The goal of the project is to examine the reach and understandings developed from a media campaign that involves sharing research findings about the influence of COVID-19 on the working conditions and mental health of rural healthcare workers. The RA will contribute to the team by: -Conducting literature reviews, -Posting content on social media Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, -Monitoring and collecting re-posts, -Managing survey and focus group recruitment -Analyzing and writing up results -Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
– Strong research and academic writing skills, – Strong lay communication skills and ability to adapt language for different audiences, – Effective social media (e.g., twitter and facebook) and web-based communication skills, – Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, – High regard for quality and attention to detail, -Preference given to graduate students or third-fourth year undergraduate students -Training and experience with qualitative research methods, analysis and dissemination is required
