Research Assistant I/II in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 523048) (to commence as soon as possible for one year on temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in public health, statistics, or other related disciplines in life/medical sciences. They should have an excellent command of written and spoken English, good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility and interest in the said research area. They should be detail-orientated and able to work collaboratively in a team. Experience in infectious disease epidemiology and statistical analysis would be an advantage. Quantitative skills and proficiency in statistical or computer modelling software (e.g., R, Python, SAS, Stata, SPSS, Matlab, C++) are highly preferred.

The appointee will assist in studies investigating the epidemiology and control of COVID-19. He/she will assist to analyze statistical data and prepare publications and reports. Information about the School can be obtained at https: // sph.hku.hk/.
