Skills/Qualifications

Collecting and adapting structural and spectroscopy data for lanthanide compounds (coordination systems, mixed oxides, halides, phosphates and other lattices). Basic knowledge in quantum chemical calculations and molecular methods. Knowledge of specific structural aspects of lanthanide chemistry and spectroscopy, including parametric ligand-field type models for d and f shells.

Specific Requirements

Performing statistical analyses and parametric fitting. Critical evaluation of phenomenological and computation model results. Comparison to experimental spectroscopy data.
