The mission of the Office of Research Grants and Development is to facilitate the University's research objectives and it does this through an active program of identifying and developing funding opportunities, providing active and timely assistance to researchers in the grant application process, administering awards and ensuring appropriate clearances.
The Opportunity
A new opportunity has become available for a Research Administrative Officer to join the team and manage a range of high-level administrative services to the Monash research community. In this role you will be reviewing applications for compliance with funding organisation rules and guidelines; providing feedback to the Primary Chief Investigator and completing the submission process to the funding organisation in accordance with their requirements and specified timelines.
The role will deliver high-level and effective service to clients, including prompt issues resolution while working collaboratively within the Applications/Awards team.
The successful candidate will have excellent administration and organisational skills including the ability to set priorities along with a strong commitment to excellence in customer service and a hands-on approach to service provision.
