
About the Role An exciting role has become available for a Regional Manager, International to come join our Future Students team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual to significantly contribute to the recruitment of international students at Swinburne University.
Reporting to the Director, International Recruitment and Admissions, the Regional Manager, International is responsible for executing strategies for the successful attraction of fee-paying international students from within the designated region(s) through agent, direct, sponsored, partner and study abroad channels. You will be responsible for understanding existing and emerging opportunities for student recruitment in their region(s) across all Swinburne offerings.
In this dynamic role, you will develop region-specific marketing initiatives and oversees the development of annual and quarterly marketing plans in support of regional recruitment activities, including deployment of new and emerging digital technologies.
To achieve set recruitment targets for the region, the position is responsible for the end-to-end selection, training and management of education agency partners and building strong successful relationships between agency staff and Swinburne.
Additionally, you will oversee for student recruitment activities with dedicated articulation, pathways and transnational education partners, in partnership with colleagues across the University responsible for managing these relationships.
Swinburne University has significant global partnerships and utilising your strong stakeholder management skills you will be responsible for coordinating joint recruitment activities in the region with delivery partners, including UP Education, ECA, Swinburne Vietnam and Swinburne Sarawak, to ensure Swinburne is represented in a coherent manner in the region.
You will also maintain a high level of market intelligence, displaying subject matter expertise to act as an advisor to internal and external stakeholders.
About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
· Significant experience and demonstrated success in profitably managing indirect and direct sales channels. · Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills occasionally providing strategic support or advice combined with the ability to generate practical and effective solutions. · Demonstrated experience of the digital environment and use of digital capabilities to effectively manage and support direct and indirect sales channel. · Superior self-management and time management skills, and ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Qualifications · Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or completion of a relevant degree level qualification with relevant work-related experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

It was founded in 1908 as the Eastern Suburbs Technical College by George Swinburne in order to serve those without access to further education in Melbourne's eastern suburbs.
