Role Overview
Fisker Inc. is looking for a passionate Quality Lead to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Vehicle Logistics, the ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating claims management, vehicle quality procedures, communicating with 3PL service providers and internal stakeholders and developing/maintaining operational procedures while leading initiatives to enhance service levels and KPIs.
Responsibilities
Lead claims dispute resolution with liable parties. Evaluate liability, coverage and settle claims within Claim Procedure
Research and obtain supporting documentation and make determination on the best course of resolution
File claims against liable parties and ensure all claims are successfully resolved on time
Evaluate damage claims caused by third party providers and develop procedures that ensure damaged vehicles are repaired to company quality standards
Analyze claims information according to established guidelines. Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage the claims process
Contribute to the decision of third-party inspection requirement
Arrange for expert inspections involving third party to investigate damage liability
Update files and provide comprehensive reports as required
Follow up on claims payment status
Monthly (or weekly) distribution and reconciliation of open claims
Monitor carrier performance on claims by publishing metrics on the rate of loss and damage occurrence and rate of claim recovery occurrence through a KPI dashboard
Identify trends in loss/damage, root causes and status updates and propose solutions to resolve and prevent repeated claims issues
Ensure vendors' compliance to company requirements and travel to audit the performance as needed
Fully develop the operational policies and procedures regarding vehicle handling, processing and transportation
Create, update, and maintain vehicle quality handling and processing procedures
Audit 3PL compliance to Fisker vehicle handling guidelines
Ensure actions items stemming from audit results are closed timely and sufficiently
Performs other duties as assigned and assist with performance improvement and ad hoc projects
Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience
Degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering or operations
Multi-cultural interpersonal, written and oral communication skills in English, preferred language skills in German
Prior experience (7-10 years) of working in logistics/supply chain/ transportation function within the automotive or manufacturing environment with comprehensive knowledge of logistics and claims processes
Deep knowledge of principles of transporting finished vehicles by any mode of transportation and storage
Experience working with insurance policies and providers
IT systems experience and skills including knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and customer data systems
Advanced skills of MS Office applications, specifically, Excel
Well organized, strong attention to detail, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills as well as a proactive mindset
Ability to make accurate assessments based upon common industry practice, vendor contractual obligations, and company policies
Knowledge of FVL transportation, insurance and logistics service providers
Experience with AIAG quality standards as well as writing quality handling guidelines
Experience with auditing vendor performance and develop audit procedures/guidelines

Additional Requirements
Expected Salary Range: $57,575 - $94,588
Additional Compensation
Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker's equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
Benefits Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees.
The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
