About You
As a member of the Training Design, Development & Review team in the ADLCRMIT project, the Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Officer will assist the Joint Logistics Command of the Australian Defence Force. The ADLC will have a maturing scope to support the design, development, delivery and management of all Joint logistics training, through the provision of training services.
The role requires collaboration with other governance teams across the College to deliver timely governance reports on critical metrics and continuous improvement initiatives that align with ASQA's Standards for RTOs.
To be successful in this position, you'll have:
Expert knowledge in vocational education regulatory and quality frameworks, audit processes, risk identification and management, and external compliance requirements such as ASQA and Defence policy and SOPs, in particular Defence Enterprise Learning Policy (DELP) and the System Approach to Defence Learning (SADL).
Expertise identifying, assessing, and reporting on VE quality and compliance requirements to internal and external governance bodies including knowledge of RMIT's Academic Quality Management model and RMIT systems.
Experience leading a team and collaborating with others to manage responses to external regulators and internal governance bodies within required time frames.
Highly developed diagnostic, analytical and organisational skills applied to compliance in a VE context.
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with demonstrated capability in communicating complex concepts and developing reports.
Ability to forge collaborative relationships across organisational boundaries and to connect and work with diverse teaching and professional staff to maintain positive, productive relationships that influence improvements in SADL teaching quality and compliance.

Joint Logistics Command (JLC) has undertaken an innovative approach to enable the development of Logistics personnel across the Defence Logistics Enterprise. The ADLC will have a maturing scope to support the design, development, delivery and management of all Joint logistics training, through the provision of training services.
