This new part-time (0.5 FTE) post is immediately available until 31 December 2024 on a fixed term basis.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

The post is with the Psychological Professions Network South West, funded by NHS England and hosted by CEDAR at the University of Exeter. The PPNSW is a sub network of PPN England and is led by a Steering Group which shapes the work of the PPN SW by developing and supporting delivery and monitoring of an annual Work Plan based on the objectives of Psychological Professions Network England.

The main purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to PPN colleagues regionally including the Co-chairs , Programme manager and stakeholders both regionally and nationally. Working under the direction of the PPN-SW Co-Chairs and the Programme Manager, the post-holder is responsible for maintaining records, to demonstrate compliance with the reporting schedule and agreed targets as outlined in the funding document and agreed MOU between the University and NHS England. CEDAR (Clinical Education Development and Research) and the PPN SW are committed to ensuring that people with Lived Experience can contribute to all aspects of the growth and development of Psychological Professions and mental health practitioners of the future. The post holder will offer administrative support to Experts by Experience and a broad range of other stakeholders especially in terms of support with payment processes.

We are looking for someone with relevant experience working providing administrative support to a varied team and, preferably someone with a working knowledge of Higher Education training programmes. The successful applicant will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with an ability to use their own initiative. This a hybrid role with the team mostly working remotely, however, there will be an expectation of at least monthly in person meetings and support for occasional in person events such as conferences.
