The Opportunity
Join the SPHERE, National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Centre of Research Excellence in Sexual and Reproductive Health for Women in Primary Care, and seize the exciting opportunity to be part of the ALLIANCE trial. This pioneering research project, backed by the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), is dedicated to assessing the effectiveness of contraception counselling and referral interventions for women at a high risk of unintended pregnancy.
Your role as the Project Officer will involve collaborating with the implementation team and investigators to drive recruitment and data collection efforts for the trial. Responsibilities encompass recruiting health professionals, collecting crucial research data, engaging with pharmacists and pharmacy staff, cultivating and nurturing relationships with study participants (including pharmacists, pharmacy staff, and consumers) and coordinating the administration of assessment measures to participants.
To thrive in this role, we are looking for candidates with a degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications, along with experience in recruitment and participant relationship management. Additionally, prior exposure to a pharmacy environment or familiarity with Australian primary care is also a valuable asset.
