Finance strategically partners with operations to drive outstanding business results and enhance Ford's industry leadership. When you join us, you'll be able to contribute financial expertise that impacts all areas of our company, including planning, manufacturing, marketing and global distribution.

This role will require coordinating and leading cross-functional efforts to break down cost of goods sold down to the unit figures across the full breadth of the income statement, facilitating strategic discussions on revisions and changes, and presenting findings to Ford executive leaders to drive informed decision making.

Responsibilities

What you'll do

  • Own strategy, development, and implementation of long-term cost management and cost reduction program in partnership with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply chain, Logistics, Manufacturing and other cross-functional partners.
  • Deliver roadmap to product profitability on third generation electric vehicles, supporting best-in-class vehicle attributes and capability while maximizing long-term company returns.
  • Lead business case analysis on complex vehicle product attribute and user experience changes, enabling executives and business unit leaders to make informed decisions impacting the end customer of Ford vehicles.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to break down both customer revenue and cost of goods sold down to the unit figures across the full breadth of the vehicle program income statement.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market teams to assess financial implications of future customer purchase experience strategies.
  • Drive transparent financial reporting, cost status reporting and ongoing optimization of finance & engineering processes.
  • Deliver critical updates to executive stakeholders up to and including Board of Directors level materials. o
  • Qualifications

    You'll have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a similar field.
  • 6 or more years in fast-moving environment and industry that has undergone transformation and growth, embracing new technology and innovation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx.
  • Mastery of traditional business communication and analysis tools (Excel, PPT)
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and deliver results in a highly cross functional organization.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, concise and fluent in executive level communication
  • Even better, you may have

  • Demonstrated success in delivering exceptional results in the face of ambiguity and constant change.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, collaborative nature, and ability to build trust with peers who are experts in their fields.
  • Track record of challenging the status quo to drive progress on a strategic agenda.
  • Able to articulate a compelling message and build consensus on the solutions to ambiguous challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high performing finance teams; built a followership over their existing career and will elevate the standards of a new organization and new role.
