What you'll do

  • Create compelling and memorable product designs
  • Partner closely with leadership, engineering, product, and business teams
  • Lead cross-functional idea generation sessions and brainstorms
  • Effectively “sell” design solutions to partners through design storytelling and by demonstrating trace-ability in the design thinking
  • Balance both the customer experience and Robinhood outcomes, designing with responsibility
  • What you bring
  • You have a design portfolio that demonstrates vision, innovation and story-telling skills
  • You have proven experience building excellent consumer products. Strong proven experience knowledge is a huge plus!
  • You have experience designing crypto products for consumer-facing products in house
  • You bring a strong understanding of design systems, how to apply them, and how to contribute to them.
  • You have the ability to design with a lot of product complexity
  • You're an expert in Figma
  • You are a positive and resilient employee; embracing input with a desire for continuous iteration and improvement
  • What we offer
  • Market competitive and pay equity-focused compensation structure
  • 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents
  • Annual lifestyle wallet for personal wellness, learning and development, and more!
  • Lifetime maximum benefit for family forming and fertility benefits
  • Dedicated mental health support for employees and eligible dependents
  • Generous time away including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more!
  • Lively office environment with catered meals, fully stocked kitchens, and geo-specific commuter benefits
  • Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. About the employer

Our story began at Stanford, where co-founders Baiju and Vlad were roommates and classmates. After graduating, they packed their bags for New York City and built two finance companies, selling their own trading software to hedge funds. There, they discovered that big Wall Street firms were paying next-to-nothing to trade stocks, while most Americans were charged commission for every single trade. They wanted to change that, so they headed back to California to build a financial product that would give everyone—not just the wealthy—access to financial markets.
