Wellness Services promotes individual and campus well-being by empowering the MRU community to create a place where people can learn, work, play, love and live well. We provide comprehensive services and programs to support campus members' health.
Mount Royal University's Wellness Services takes an innovative approach to your health by integrating a broad spectrum of services that address the wellness of your body, mind, and spirit. Wellness Services is made up of 5 teams and areas of service: Health Services Medical Clinic, MRU Injury & Prevention Clinic, Student Counselling Services, Dating, Domestic and Sexual Violence Services; Healthy Campus Team.
About the RoleWe are seeking two dedicated primary care physicians to join our team in a shared-practice position, working with a team of MDs, a psychiatrist, RNs, LPN & Mental Health nurses.
This opportunity involves taking over the practice of a retiring physician starting in February 2024.
The role offers a great work-life balance, providing flexibility to adjust required days and work hours, including the potential to reduce hours over the summer months, accommodating personal preferences.
Clinic hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday. Our health services are closed on statutory holidays and during the period between Christmas and the New Year.
The start date for this position is January 2024.
At our practice, we understand the importance of acknowledging the value our physicians bring to the healthcare landscape, providing 75% of patient billing as part of your earnings.
