    The Opportunity

    The Postgraduate Research Programs Officer provides administrative support to the Director of Postgraduate Studies in relation to the postgraduate programs offered to those enrolled within the Sub-Faculty of Clinical and Molecular Medicine. To provide broad-based support, the incumbent continually builds upon their knowledge of the many areas of research undertaken within the nine departments that make up the Sub-Faculty, including the five different centres within the Hudson Institute.

    The position provides candidate management tailored to the ongoing requirements of students and maintains an awareness of, and respect for the various circumstances, ambitions and pressures facing students. The Postgraduate Research Programs Officer also provides support to academics in a wide range of functions which contribute to the administration of the graduate programs at the Monash Medical Centre precinct.

    Your experience with providing high level professional administrative support, strong organisation and time management skills and knowledge of university procedures and policies, particularly in relation to graduate research education will see you successful in this position.
