About the roleWe are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Officer to join our Precision Livestock Management team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a lead role in projects in crop-livestock systems in northern Australia and the Pacific. The advertised role will undertake research on ruminant nutrition, grazing behaviour and integrated production systems within multi-institute and multi-disciplinary research projects.
The successful candidate will contribute to the collection, analysis, and interpretation of livestock, pasture and socio-economic data. The role will involve the coordination of a range of research activities conducted on campus, and on-farm in Australia and in an international setting, with travel to the Pacific required to fulfill this role. Opportunity and support will be provided for the successful candidate to develop their own research projects.
