Offer Description

Open postdoctoral position at Institute of Biophysics of the Czech Academy of Science in Brno, Czech Republic

Are you a recent PhD graduate in molecular and cell biology, biochemistry, or biophysics looking for an exciting postdoctoral opportunity? Join our team for a project aimed at investigating the function of Haspin kinase and its role in the regulation of cell cycle, plasticity, and fate.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate with a PhD in the relevant fields. Prior postdoctoral experience is not required; we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and have a strong passion for research. Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams are also important.

As a postdoctoral researcher on our team, you will have the opportunity to use advanced proteomics and unique chemical probes to study the Haspin interactome and its function in different stages of the cell cycle. You will also investigate the role of Haspin in plasticity regulation and cell fate decision making, and evaluate its potential as a therapeutic target.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV, cover letter, and contact information for at least three referees to Karel Souček at [email protected]. We welcome all applicants who are interested in joining our team and embarking on an exciting research journey with us.
