Join the Team of Severine Boillee at the ICM and participate in medical research in the field of neuroscience. We work on the mechanisms leading to motor neuron degeneration in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). We showed in ALS mouse models, that microglial cells/macrophages participated to ALS disease progression. As ALS is a heterogenous disease, our question is now to analyze, in new iPSc-/organoid- based models, the development of ALS pathological hallmarks and the contribution of immune cells in relation to ALS heterogeneity.
