Performance-Driven Marketing Martech Activation Lead

Remote: This position does not require employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis.

General Motors' Performance Driven Marketing (PDM) team is seeing an individual who can leverage their experience in marketing technology, operational processes, and audience segmentation to create and execute audience and activation strategy within the PDM Martech Strategy and Solutions team.

The PDM Martech Activation Lead is responsible for leading the enablement of new marketing customer journeys through our martech platforms and capabilities. They will work with a cross-functional team of marketers and product managers with the goal of designing and optimizing customer segmentation, personalization and engagement strategies driven by data, analytics, and technology.

You will champion the delivery of best-in-world customer experiences and enable unique moments that matter for GM's customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer experience using the capabilities of our marketing tools, data, and processes
  • Manage the creation and optimization of customer experiences aligned to the strategic vision of our brand stakeholders
  • Be the hands-on-keyboard lead building new journeys, processes and campaigns within the marketing platforms
  • Champion innovation through test and learn optimization
  • Design cross-channel customer experience workflows and activations within marketing platforms and deliver optimized framework to operations teams for scaling and execution
  • Development and delivery of new customer journeys and segments to be operationalized and scaled across the organization
  • Bring data, strategy and customer actions together to create unique and personalized customer experiences
  • Oversee marketing audience creation and delivery processes across GM brands and lines of business
  • Work with brand, analytics, and research teams to identify opportunities/provide learnings and the Martech team to define new customer experience use cases and requirements
  • Provide thought leadership, write & deliver strategic POVs and unlock new capabilities that drive modern marketing solutions for our stakeholders
  • Work collaboratively across PDM, Brand, DBTT and LOB teams, building trusted relationships and interlocks across the marketing and CX organization
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant business/industry work leading customer personalization, segmentation, and experience strategies
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Understanding of core marketing functions and brand strategies and an ability to associate strategic goals with martech solutions to drive results for stakeholders
  • Hands on experience with marketing technology platforms including Adobe Experience Cloud (AAM, AEP including RTCDP and AJO applications, Campaign, Target, etc), onboarding solutions, identity resolution, CRM solutions, clean rooms, adtech platforms, etc
  • Knowledge in developing and optimizing customer experiences & journeys based on online and offline data & real-time customer actions
  • Ability to combine the strategic and technical sides of marketing to develop unique personalized customer experiences
  • Demonstrates ability to work with cross functional teams and coordinating resources to deliver projects

    Compensation:

  • The expected base compensation for this role is: ($90,223 - $144,122). Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
